The Phantasmal Mount gives an ally creature a primitive version of the much-later 'Crew' or 'Mount' mechanic, where it grants a buff to a creature
In regards to DnD I would have loved this aura to lose some toughness per damage taken to be more in line with the actual spell in the game (and to give it a chance in draft/sealed to be removed by swinging into it rather than having to wait for someone to remove the actual aura or creature)
Six mana is pretty steep, but in a green deck, thats not that hard to achieve
The other is Beckon, which states that during your turn, whenever another character of yours enters play exerted, you may draw a card
