I honestly didn't think much of this card until I playtested older versions of this deck and realized it's actually the perfect designed commander for it

Resourceful Defense Two generic, one white Enchantment: Whenever a permanent you control leaves the battlefield, if it had counters on it, put those counters on target permanent you control
Ephemerate is probably strongest in 4c Elementals, where every creature has a threatening ETB that can value-spiral out of control quickly
Another thing to note thats more trivial than anything is that there seems to be no oversized Commanders within the product, which has also been a mainstay of the deck for as long as it's been around
