For that reason, Altair Ibn-LaAhad, and some other Mythic Rare Assassins, got a lot more expensive than expected

Feels like he is a Shift target for a future Floodborn Jim Hawkins, but until we see that card, this one is unplayable

Getting to dig for an artifact or enchantment and bringing it in with a shield counter is nice, and similarly, putting perma-buffs on your creatures or Commander is good too
