The shaft is made of sissoo wood and is decorated with Viking carvings in the form of early medieval knot motifs. The back of the Viking axe has a bone ornament with an etching of a Mjolnir, or Thor's hammer. This is the dreaded weapon of the Viking thunder god Thor. The semi sharp axe head is made of X46Cr13 stainless steel with a hardness of 52 HRC and is suitable for
