The original owner of the rod was Edgar B. McKay, a teacher and environmental educator from Maine. Both of the Streamer rods he owned were made in 1947, the first year he began teaching at UMaine. One original tip is 1 3 4 short, and one tip was an extra made by Jim Schaaf. "EF 109" is stamped on the butt cap. The rod weighs 5 ounces on my scale. Medium fast
