Antique Victorian Albert Chain Silver 18ct Gold Gilt Dated 1886 Pearl ITEM NUMBER: 22-481A grand antique Victorian Albert chain made up of sterling silver curb links that graduate in size from the clasps down toward a T bar at the bottom. Each is stamped with a sterling lion mark and gilded in a bright 18ct yellow gold. Albert chains were popularised and named after Prince Albert, Queen Victorias consort in the 19th Century and were traditionally worn by gentlemen to secure a pocket watch to the buttonhole of a waistcoat. Today, they are
