Near mint condition and I suspect the rod has been lawn cast only. A faint casting crack at one of the ferrule wraps is the only evidence of use I could find. Fast dry fly action. I also suspect this rod may date to the end of the Maxwell period at Leonard, as the reel seat has the caramelized varnish that I
