It reminds me of the women who raised me and taught me so much growing up. My mum, grandmothers, aunties and Elders shared their knowledge, stories and life experiences with me. This work is a tribute to their strength and the important place women hold in our families and communities. I've painted women standing they represent out elders and the women sitting or just between each elder are our younger women in
