The rod is in excellent plus restored condition (Jim Schaaf performed the restoration). The rod has a slow, smooth action. The previous owner fished with a long bellied DT8 though this seems a bit light to me. All sections are full length and straight. There is a clear protective lift wrap 1 3 of the way up on a mid section. Chestnut brown
