I took the reel apart and found this reel to be in spectacular condition
Abel Super 12 Fly Reel 6'4" Comes with its original VomA nice Abel Super 12 fly reel, Serial #6864. LHW. 4 1 2" diameter, with a 1 7 64" spool diameter and 1 3 4" overall width. Backing but no line mounted. 2 minor scratches are the only sign of use so I'd call it 98% new. The owner's name is engraved on the back of the reel. All black anodizing. 12. 3 oz on my scale. Comes with the original Abel pouch.
