Leonard 40-4 Fly Rod 8' 2/2 #4 6'6" there is no ferrule conventionA nice HL Leonard 40 4 fly rod, 8', 2 piece, 2 tip, built for a #4 line. Serial #2180. Medium to medium slow action. Condition is used but in very good fishing condition. 3 up node pattern construction, with 326 red silk wraps, and a band of green and red at the keeper and male ferrules. The varnish is typical of brush coat technique. The stripping guide wraps have been overcoated. Everything else is original. No hook digs and the ferrule fits are not
