When the aspens turn that deep gold and you see that cool blue building behind them, its hard to ignore. Every time I see that combination, I think of moose. Thats the season when they feel most present. Its their rut. Theyre out in the open more. Moving with purpose. More visible on the landscape. This painting was inspired from photographs I took in Paradise Valley. It was one of those evenings where the
