Navy between 1940 and 1943 for summer use. This modified M 421A version features a high density, thick back satin fabric that develops character through friction, and it has a revised shorter length. The Navys traditional action pleats on the back for mobility remain. The diamond shaped elbow patches are the jackets signature feature, with clean, straight lines that give a military aesthetic. The
