Artisans would sometimes remove the Shakudo plaques from the armor and incorporate it into jewelry or art. It has become very collectible and quite unusual. This impressive and substantial ring from the Victorian era (ca1880) is a wonderful example of the Shakudo craft! The ring consists of a large, oval shaped Shakudo plaque, which rests atop a swirled
